What Are Nematodes?

Nematodes are microscopic, beneficial organisms that actively hunt, penetrate and destroy over 200 pests from up to 100 insect families.  They most effective on immature grub stages of insects before they mature to adults. Being natural, beneficial nematodes are safe to use around humans, children and pets.  They won’t harm non-target organisms such as bees, or other pollinators. These beneficial nematodes attack the larval stages of soil-dwelling pests, leaving the plants alone.

How To Know if my lawn has

European Chafer Damage

European Chafer is commonly known as Grub. They are 2-2.5cm in length, have brown head and white body with black tail. Grub is also C shaped.

Due to the rapid reproduction rate European Chafer has become an invasive pest. The beetle and larva feeds on the
roots of many plants including grass, where it has become most noticeable.

While Grubs usually do not cause  heavy damage to lawns, racoons and crows are. They feed on grubs and dig them out from the ground causing most noticeable damage to lawns.

Most noticeable signs of lawn damage are : animal damage, spongy lawn areas, inconsistent yellowing of the lawn
